IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has announced a special sale on domestic flights. The airline is offering discounted airfares starting from as low as Rs 2,093 for domestic destinations across India. However, the availability of these discounted fares is subject to limited inventory, and the offer will be open till February 25, 2023, for travel between March 13, 2023, and October 13, 2023.

Here are some key details to note about IndiGo’s special discount offer:

  1. Limited inventory is available under the offer, and discounts will be provided subject to availability.
  2. The discount is not applicable on airport charges and government taxes.
  3. The offer is valid only on non-stop flights on various sectors across IndiGo’s domestic network.
  4. It cannot be clubbed with any other offer, scheme, or promotion.
  5. The offer is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-encashable.
  6. Change in itinerary can be made by paying the applicable change fee and fare difference

The airline recently announced new flights between Mumbai-Silchar and Delhi-Itanagar via Kolkata, which will significantly cut down the air travel time between these destinations.

India’s domestic air passenger traffic has recovered strongly from pandemic lows, with 1.25 crore passengers taking to the skies in January, almost double the number recorded in the year-ago period, according to official data. IndiGo had a 54.6% share of traffic, carrying 68.47 lakh passengers last month. Air India and Vistara carried 11.55 lakh and 11.05 lakh passengers, respectively, in January, with a market share of 9.2% and 8.8% respectively.

It is worth noting that IndiGo maintained its top position in On-Time Performance (OTP) in January, with 84.6% on an average of its flights from four key metro airports – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad – departing and arriving at their scheduled time.
